Marketplace terms

Rules for discovering, publishing, reviewing, distributing, and installing Marketplace content.

Effective date: August 2, 2026

Pre-release notice: GlobalStacks and its Marketplace are pre-release projects and are not currently offered by an incorporated company. These terms describe the intended operating model and are not a commercial agreement.

Marketplace roles

Publishers own their extension and template releases. Organization reviewers decide whether a proposal may become an organization-private release. The GlobalStacks System organization separately controls whether an exact release may be distributed to other organizations.

Distribution grants

A public, beta, or allowlisted distribution grant does not transfer ownership to GlobalStacks and does not create a new release. GlobalStacks may reject, restrict, revoke, or urgently block distribution for security, legal, policy, or operational reasons.

Installation and support

Marketplace content is provided without charge and as-is during pre-release unless separate written terms say otherwise. Publishers are responsible for their listings, support statements, licenses, privacy disclosures, and content. Installers must review requested permissions, network access, and compatibility before installation.

Existing installations

Ordinary revocation prevents new installations and upgrades but does not automatically remove an existing installation. Emergency security action may block use when necessary to protect users or the service.
